Which is why I say "Trans rights are women's rights". Without those rights we all suffer.
We have been tracking people’s experiences with gendered spaces and our new report looks at the impact of the 2025 EHRC interim update on access to, and experiences within, gendered spaces in the UK.

This study is WILD - some dinosaurs (reptiles) had hooves, and this is now the earliest known fossil of a hooved animal. Even crazier, mammals may have secondarily LOST their hooves through evolutionary adaptations (the origin of hooves is still kinda murky) www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

Lots of folks captioning aurora photos like "for a few minutes we didn't think about politics"

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

Here in the UK, a friend of mine is having a hysterectomy at a private hospital. It will cost ~£7,000, including the hospital stay. What's wrong with the US health system that a broken ankle costs $64k?!
Our health care system is so broken it’s insane.

Stop letting them make you believe a better one is impossible.

When you have an administration that so constantly, shamelessly, openly lies, pretty soon there’s no faith in any information streams coming from the administration, so there’s no way to convey true information in a way that lands right, which leads to more chaos.

Disinformation is dangerous because there’s no adequate way to retract it once it’s out there. It’s deliberately designed to cultivate powerful emotions (outrage, disgust, resentment, anxiety, etc) and those emotions don’t just disappear even when a person is told their feelings are based on lies.

The one-sided quest for bipartisan unity results in a constant moving of the goalposts rightward. That is the consistent lesson of the last 20 years of American history. A mistake that we seem condemned to repeat.

The fact that an anti-migrant politician, who tells us every single day that he doesn't like immigration, is saying it once again, is not in any way news
