ICE says it wasn’t them. DHS says they were Border Patrol. But honestly who the hell knows? They’ve given permission for any psycho to put on a ski mask, point a gun, grab people & throw them into an unmarked vehicle.

I wrote this thread after reading claims that being anti-Zionist means supporting "the destruction of Israel". And I wanted to say that this is, empirically, untrue. For some people, that's what it means, but for many others it doesn't. I wanted to show the limits of this label (and related ones)

For Jews, defining oneself vis-a-vis Zionism means two things.
Firstly, how you feel about the history of the Zionist project.
Secondly, how you feel about the Zionist mainstream, in the diaspora or in Israel (very different contexts).
It *does not* translate to well defined political platform.
