Last job of the year is to do some wisteria pruning and training. Not fun to do when it’s this cold, but it’ll definitely mean it won’t bleed any sap.

Perfect for the day, this is Tall Bearded iris 'Santa', from 1998. A gorgeous #iris, so many folks want it, sadly it is a poor grower and very hard to find, or keep going if you do.

An interesting characteristic of this fenestrated haworthia I noticed over the summer is that if it is exposed to bright sunshine for a few weeks, the pigmentation of its leaves turns from cool green to bright red. 🌱🪴🌵
