Looking into this as well, apparently the only thing confirmed remotely AI on DS2 was content aware rigging when scanning in people (tech that’s already existed for awhile) and Kojima’s vague comments on use in future games, so it’s on that selective “side” as much as the ghosts in Pac-Man.
i know i'm getting annoying with how much i'm talking about this but

was playing some Marvel vs Capcom 3 last night, and noticed the Days of Future Past background with the classic "Slain/apprehended" poster image had Megaman as the one the Sentinels hadn't got yet. Very charming! Also, I notice now: Marrow.
