I’m not actually a dog but his photos are much cuter. Occasionally I write stuff.
I know they are all evil, planet destroyers etc but I quite like that Amazon’s AI Rufus has been designed purely to sell you stuff and does not give a shit about trying to flatter you or keep the conversation going like chat gpt does.

Judge for yourself: did the dossier accusing the BBC of doctoring a Trump quote…doctor a Trump quote?
Left: Donald Trump’s Jan 6th quote, as presented in the dossier that brought down two BBC bosses

Right: What Donald Trump actually said.

Perhaps if they hadn’t dumped theirs in the harbour in the first place this wouldn’t be an issue.
Paid a Colombian tea grower $1,500 for a shipment. Got billed $150 by the Trump administration at the border. *I* got billed. Not the tea growers. Not the Colombian government. Me. The American business owner. I paid the Trump tax.

Authors, Beware! There's a firm called "ClaimsHero" doing aggressive social media outreach claiming to
"help" you file to get $ in the Anthropic class action. In fact, it's a bait-and-switch, they are luring authors to sign up with them, then OPTING THEM OUT of the class action so they'll get zilch.

It’s really annoying to think that in a few years time we’re going to have so many ‘How Sam Altman fooled the world’ and ‘the crash no one saw coming’ documentaries when there are so many people pointing out the circular financing and impossible growth requirements.

This is why we fund scientists to study things like oyster slobber even if you don’t think it sounds important
⚠️ Chinese researchers have invented bone glue that mimics how oysters stick to surfaces underwater.

The adhesive can reportedly repair orthopedic fractures in 2-3 minutes, even in blood-rich environments, and is bioabsorbable.
