We all know ‘tragedy’ comes from Greek.
‘tragos’ = goat
‘aeidein’ = to sing
So ‘tragedy’ originally meant “goat song.”
Not to be confused with the GOAT song, which is probably “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman.

This is the Arbour Oak, in Wollaton Park Nottingham
It is a hybrid of English & Sessile Oak & about 550 years old
I aim to see more of this tree as my youngest son is due to start University soon, just a few hundred yards away
