The dryer is SO loud but if I don't run it now our clothing choices for today are extremely limited. Here's hoping the kids can sleep through it.

A friend of mine totaled the driver's ed car on her first time out, sending the instructor to the hospital because they hit a deer.
(I say they here because he had a set of brakes too and also didn't top in time).
She was a really good driver in the end actually, but deer really suck.

Staying in a basement rental and honestly can't tell if the loud noises are the weather being even worse than I can imagine or something going on with the pipes. 😬😂

More measles PSA...it is a series. Your pediatrician can often push up the additional doses.
When there was a measles outbreak near us a few years back my pediatrician contacted us and gave my son his final shot about a year early to get him fully covered.
It's worth asking about.

I’m going to keep sharing this PSA: although the MMR is usually given at 12 and 18 months, your baby can get a first dose as early as 6 months. They will still need the other two doses, because immunity doesn’t stick at that age, and insurance may not cover it. But it’s protection.

Have arrived, had dinner and put the kids to bed. Absolutely lovely to be off a plane and have my anxiety quiet down a bit now that we are here.
Traveling has gotten quite hard for me from an anxiety perspective so it's always an immense relief when my brain pipes down a bit.

Everyone in my family rolling their eyes at what a germophobe I am, meanwhile my throat is sore *looks meaningfully at 12, who had this exact symptom 2 days ago*.
Good news is, if I have what he has, it's not any of the big scaries.
Bad news is, I didn't want to catch anything at all really.
