I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Anwar. Anwar and her husband tried for 12 years to have a baby before having Sham shortly before the war began. Her husband was martyred in the Flour Massacre in January last year and she’s now on her own trying to provide for Sham.

All grocery chains make their largest monthly incomes at the beginning of the month due to that being when people receive SNAP as well as Social Security and other benefits. Without that influx, large chains raise prices of other goods to make up for losses while small ones may in fact close.

How about printing out some fliers letting your neighbors know that on a particular day of the week, u will be cooking X extra meals and that anyone who needs one can stop by your place at X hour to pick one up no questions asked? Can even leave them at the door.

My friend told me that her 14 year old son started doing laundry on Sundays for some of his elderly neighbors. He doesn't charge for the labor. And now he is the most popular person in the building and has non stop pies, cookies, and cake. The 14 year old should be our model of modern masculinity.

I’m not sorry for saying this what they did to our captured relatives was beyond cruelty. They were stripped of their dignity, tortured with electricity, and treated like less than human. It was horror designed to erase their humanity.
