Was lucky enough to catch Setting when they came through SF in May '24, and have been thinking about that show (and listening to all their live releases on bandcamp) ever since
setting live at public records last april (fresh from their frow show session), billowing electroacoustic improv bliss with processed harmonium, conversational drums, hammered banjo, etc. a wonderful space, even if it doesn't quite capture the surround sound. setting.bandcamp.com/album/at-pub...

tuesdays just won't feel quite right for the next while without the frow show. in the meantime, looking forward to diving into those 10+ years of archives!
it's the *700th* episode of the frow show on @wfmu.bsky.social & the last in a regular slot for a bit! taking a (slight) break after being weekly for 10+ years, hopefully back doing fill-ins soon. (hit me up, DJs!) tune in for 3 hours of new music & jammy intrigues. wfmu.org/playlists/JJ...

First off, this forecast shows potential overhead aurora (green band) and the edge of where you might be able to see it near the horizon (green line)

π is irrational, which means `Math.PI` is only an approximation, the closest JavaScript number (IEEE 754 64-bit float) to π

Now that JavaScript has BigInts I propose that we should add a constant `BigInt.PI`, the closest BigInt to π. For symmetry
Math.PI - JavaScript | MDN
The Math.PI static data property represents the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, approximately 3.14159.
