This is yet another example of how you beat the far right. By beating them, not trying to be them. By having your own agenda, not aping theirs. With courage and conviction - and humour - not fear and timidity.

Much as I dislike Rachel Reeves and would be happy to see her gone. Not for this, she is clearly not at fault here. Coincidentally, it all appears just after the suggestion that she may tax the more privileged a bit more.

Absolutely, the reality is the previous government no interest in solving the problem. They want the division, and if their donors can make a few quid from the misery, so much the better. Sadly labour seem to be following the same blueprint.
Costs of asylum accomodation are down to firms making vast profits off of providing poor quality for people seeking safety and Home Office cruelty and ineptitude. It is not the fault of those forced into using them by a system which doesn't give them a choice. #r4today

Absolutely. Keeping women down has always been their aim. It keeps working men in their place.

What people who use this line actually mean is "I don't listen anyone who knows more than I do, and neither should you".
Of all the stupid things they’ve said, this is the stupidest. And the most dangerous.

Absolutely, I do wonder if he chose this to shame women from taking any sort of pain relief during pregnancy.
Why are the American president's claims about autism the first item on British news bulletins?

He's not our president, the advice doesn't apply here and he's not presented any evidence to support his assertions.

So why spread these claims? What make this the biggest story in the UK?

When I worked there for the summer in a pub in Brixton, in the late 90s that's what I loved about London, so many cultures coming together. All the different foods,,so wonderful.
I love London so much. So much.

Did you know that London has the lowest level of ethnic violence of any city of comparable size in the world?

Multiculturalism has in fact worked here. They just don’t want it to be true because we happen to have a Muslim mayor.
In London, hate will never win.

Unfortunately this is true, far too little, far too late. The richest man in the world openly called for a fascist coup in our country yesterday. Keir Starmers policy of appeasement has brought us here.
Keir, you already surrendered to them, most dramatically with your ‘Island of Strangers’ speech.
EXC - Keir Starmer condemns far right racism and violence at yesterday's march

Says there will be "no surrender" of British flag to those who promote hate

My upstairs neighbour, who is a lovely if slightly batty (her words) elderly lady has hung a St George's flag from her balcony, but on my wall. I'm not comfortable with it, largely because the whole "campaign" seems to be about imposing flags on other people. I'm sure this is not her intention.
