I think it's important to know that while post 10/7 videos played a huge role in the turn against Israel, for the 00s and 10s it was literally just muslim journalists realizing the importance of translating things into English for American audiences. That was part of how I got into anti-zionism.
Twitter disabled Hebrew machine translation because they didn't want people to easily see how horribly genocidal israeli posts are.

One of the most demoralizing parts of writing for tv/movies is you work your ass off for years and don’t make a cent. When stuff starts moving and money happens everyone else in the process gets more than you’ll ever make and you’re still not even sure you’ll ever get paid. And it’s all your ideas.
