I’m just starting another demo that’s just the beginning of the game and it was a full 15 minutes of cutscene before I could actually control the character.
There has to be a better way to do this!!!!

I guess that works, but sometimes the opening hours of things like RPGs are a bit plodding and hand holdy in a way that I find doesn't work as well in a demo as a better curated vertical slice would be

I've been playing a bunch of demos of games, and I'm kinda struck how curated demos just kinda don't seem to exist anymore. It seems like a lot of them are just "here's the first like, 3 hours of the game, unedited."
