i think this is exactly right. she was hired to be a regime censor but that requires a bit of real skill and finesse to pull of successfully and she has neither.
Weiss is simply not talented enough to pull this off.

Global TV (in Canada) had last night's original 60 Minutes episode including the pulled segment on CECOT on its app and website today until about 5:45pm ET.
I was watching it when it got yanked - but bootlegs abound. www.theglobeandmail.com/world/us-pol...

Internment changed the geography of my family history, and last weekend we unveiled a plaque to commemorate the town that took them in so many years ago. Fay is my great aunt, and one of the last who was actually there.

Sometimes, when people say that the modern police are modeled after Antebellum slave catchers, I politely try to disagree, since policing existed before that, and in countries that didn't have the same form of chattel slavery as the Southern US. ICE however-
I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video.

I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.

“The Prime Minister of Ontario”

Truly stunning how little these people know about other countries, even neighbouring ones.
BREAM: How do trade talks get back on with Canada?

BESSENT: We'll see. This is very serious. The prime minister of Ontario, who I imagine is smarting quite a bit from the Blue Jays loss, spent $75 million interfering in US public policy. A price has got to be paid for this.

Did Pro-Palestinian protestors light a fire in the lobby of an apartment building, and then duct tape the doors shut to prevent escape?
This is one of the stupidest takes I’ve ever heard.

I mean, for a start, what pro-Palestine protest in Ottawa ever lasted more than a few hours?

Did they honk horns all night long, sleep depriving neighbourhoods? Block roads for weeks at a time, impacting medical care kids with cancer?
