Ahhh, but will he review his own administration which granted asylum to the DC/Natl Guard shooter in April 2025?
President Trump said his administration will conduct a full review of Afghan nationals who were admitted to the U.S. under the Biden administration in the wake of the National Guard shooting.
Live updates: 2 National Guard members in critical condition; D.C. shooting suspect is an Afghan national
By 3 p.m., D.C. police said they had one suspect in custody.

This is the kind of courage instilled by a moral grounding combined with a dedication to public service, especially long military service.
Mark Kelly: "I said something that was pretty simple and non-controversial, and that was that members of the military should follow the law. In response to that, Trump said I should be executed, I should be hanged ... it says a lot more about him than it says about me. I'm not going to be silenced."

Wut?

rear-shoring?

Venezuela?!?!

How is bringing jobs from China to Bolivia/Chile/Venezuela/Central or South America putting Americans first?
Salazar: "In Congress we've understood that China, we need to bring those jobs back. Maybe to the United States, but maybe near-shoring or rear-shoring. Maybe it's time to bring those jobs to Venezuela and to Chile and to Bolivia and to Central and South America. They happen to be in our back yard."

Just gonna mention again that pledging to disobey illegal & unconstitutional orders is the very basis of the Oath Keepers organization, whose leader and other members were freed from long prison sentences by President Donald Trump, after they actually did plan a rebellion against the government

Holy cow, has WaPo become a wasteland
If you want to get to know a person, you could look at their social media.

But the truth also lies within the Notes app: Too private to post, too important to forget, too forgettable to remember.
We asked strangers to show us their Notes app. Here’s what we learned.
A repository of wish lists, reminders and half-baked ideas, the digital jotting pad may be the most analog app in your phone — and in some ways, the most revealing.

Breaking News: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its position that vaccines do not cause autism. The move underscores his determination to challenge scientific orthodoxy — in this case, that vaccines save lives — and bend the health department to his will.

In an interview, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. cited gaps in vaccine safety research. His critics say he is ignoring a larger point: Vaccines save lives.

Trump is mucking about in an area that could get him in genuine trouble. His whole shtick is based on the premise that military leaders will remain loyal to him no matter what. But if he gives an illegal order and they side with Dems, he and Hegseth could easily find themselves in a military prison.

I’d like an answer to this, as well @gene4va.bsky.social. Why are you voting to eliminate home rule in DC?
I am especially disappointed in @gene4va.bsky.social. He has now voted SEVEN times to advance Trump’s takeover of DC. He claims to support democracy, but then opposes it at almost every turn for the city just 40 minutes away. Why is this local Dem supporting Trump’s agenda so strongly?
