NEXT FRIDAY: Minnesotans are joining together for a statewide day of non-violent moral action and reflection.

That means no work, no school, and no shopping — only community, conscience, and collective action.

There will also be a peaceful march and rally in downtown Minneapolis: iceoutnowmn.com

I genuinely don't understood how America took the emoluments clause -- the common-sense bar on a president using his powers to line his own pockets, a law children can understand -- and just said, nah, that doesn't apply for our Very Special Boy.
He’s turned the presidency into the world’s largest ATM machine.

“When you think of it, we shouldn’t even have an election.” Pay attention. He means this.
Trump says a lot of deranged shit, but, per this Reuters article — and the threats of invoking the Insurrection Act in Minnesota this morning — he is very clearly exploring how to cancel the midterms.

Who in this country is better off than they were a year ago, other than cronies and minions of the President? Is anyone? Have we ever lived in a time when so much misery could be laid at the feet of one person?

This was quoting a post about fighter jets doing training flights over DC late tonight. I don't know whether that means it's not happening, but it's still true that the President hates us and wants us to be miserable. Was that even true of Nixon?
The President of the United States actually, literally hates us. He has said so. He takes pleasure in our misery and he's proud of that.

I can’t support funding a status quo that accepts Trump’s illegal, immoral demolition of USAID.

This minibus also fails to constrain the abject stupidity of Trump’s threats to attack Greenland, Mexico, Colombia, Cuba, etc.

The thing is, the Fed’s lawyers are so much better than the clowns running DOJ it’s not even a fair fight. Especially on matters of financial reporting.

Jay Powell goes straight to the truth: this is about the Fed’s independent decision-making. Thank God the Fed has really, really good lawyers.
