Yesterday, I was in Richmond for a meeting of the Commission on Unemployment Compensation. Virginia's unemployment rate is rising in response to the chaos and disruption of the Trump regime. We need a strong unemployment insurance system to keep Virginia families afloat as they look for work.

Today, we remember the tragedy of 9/11 and honor those whose lives were taken too soon, many from our community. While we can never repay the sacrifices, their heroism will never be forgotten. We will never forget.
