Lib Dem leader Edward Davey calls for a national investigation into Russian political interference in British politics:

"Given Reform won't, he must. So will he know launch a national investigation into Russian infiltration into our politics?"

Starmer: "Reform is riddled with pro-Putin propaganda"

Fair, but TPM is much more credible than Axios.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Yep. It's good to be suspect of Axios, but it's also good to call your senator so they know where their constituants stand and harden their resolve.

Axios reports Schumer may fold on the shutdown—accepting only a promise of a vote on ACA subsidies in December.

After 40 days of fighting, that’s not compromise—it’s surrender.

📞 Call Schumer: 202-224-6542
Tell him: Protect ACA subsidies now.

“But in the past few weeks, a series of developments have revealed a disturbingly credible policy pathway to power consolidation. We can now see how American Orbánism could take full root before the 2028 elections. We now know how we would get there from here.”

Michael Fanone said it best “..no American politician has done more to normalize political violence in this country other than Donald J. Trump.”
From pardoning #Jan6 rioters to calling for protesters to be shot, to giving ICE full reign, he is the problem.

Obama is referring to the fact that Charlie Kirk claimed Michelle Obama, Justice Jackson, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (RIP) and Joy Reid didn’t have brain processing power.

For some reason, this ridiculously racist comment by Kirk isn’t being treated as, you know, ridiculously racist.
Obama: So we have to extend to people during their period of mourning

We can also at the same time say I disagree with the idea that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was a mistake

I can disagree with the suggestion that my wife or Justice Jackson does not have adequate brain processing power.

We’re seeing that corporate titans don’t care about authoritarianism. Look at the Big Tech overlords flocking to the White House. Conservatives use to celebrate the supposed link between capitalism and democracy. Not any more.

1. Yes, from a purely legal perspective, Trump's new $15 billion lawsuit against the NYT is a joke.

But this lawsuit, and others like it, have a real impact on the news coverage you read about powerful people.

The purpose is to send a message and discourage critical reporting.
