Hi guys, I am trying to crowd source funds to pay for my cat's urgent hospitalization bill. The bill is currently at $5400 but is to increase by another 2-4K since he needs to spend another 24-48hours. I would really appreciate any help you could offer <3

This executive order requires RealID to vote, specifically. Regular licenses won't work

Only 61.2% of license holders currently have RealID

If you're not one of them, get your ID NOW. NOW. TODAY. Because this will likely not be the last thing you'll need one for

The thing about abortion and gender affirming care is that they're both issues of bodily autonomy, entirely up to the person who's getting them. They're objectively good. There should be no stigma with controlling your own body. Controlling your body is awesome!

🚨 Holy crap. Marco Rubio is seemingly purporting to exempt nearly all immigration regulations and policy, along with things like export controls, trade rules, and more, from notice and comment rulemaking requirements.

Columbia’s overblown response & decision to launch a PR campaign against activists is what landed it in the spotlight in the first place as protests were breaking out nationally. Ya played yourself.
You can have the cops come beat the shit out of your students to prove you’re not a filthy commie and they’ll still do this to you and all you’ll have done is show everyone what a pathetic little coward you are. Might as well do the right thing the first time

The way Nietzsche's thought has been utterly abused for the sake of Nazi propaganda always boils my blood. It really is a shame. Nietzsche was a deep and contradictory thinker, with limits of application, but nevertheless a hopeful philosopher-artist that hated all forms of nationalism.
This is just Nazism, I'm sorry to be so tedious and repetitive, but this kind of bowdlerized Nietzscheanism for popular audience can really have no other name

The final vote: 51-45, with 4 people absent.

CLOTURE FAILS, A CONGRESSIONAL SPORTS BAN WILL NOT HAPPEN.

Democrats hold firm, not a single dem voted for cloture.

MAJOR victory for everyone who called in today and this week in support of trans people.

1. Today, the NYT has reported that 100 members of an ERG-adjacent LGBTQ+ chat in the intelligence community have been fired.

This is a new McCarthyism, a new lavender scare meant to remove LGBTQ+ in government, and the way this was done should shake us all.

I know there’s a lot right now. But folks need to understand what this means.

A suspension this long would mean people living with HIV lose their medicine for months. People around the world lose their PrEP for months, putting millions at risk of getting HIV. Drug-resistant strains could emerge.
