The proper response to this is a lifetime ban to all NCAA events.

So we'll wait to hear from the NCAA.

Regarding what happened with Texas A&M-SC today, among many other things, I was struck by the actions of No. 27 (Oscar Adaway III) on South Carolina.

Video shows him attempting to quickly de-escalate things as well as getting his teammate the hell out of there. A young man with great awareness.

Amazon announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year.

UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year.

Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

I'm Canadian. We appreciate strict gun control and therefore relative safety.

Here we see Jesus protecting the children by overturning the table of a gun vendor and his profits.

World War 2 & Vietnam War lasted a combined 27 years, or just shy of 10,000 days. In that time, a total of 132 journalists were killed.

Israel has sieged Gaza for just under 700 days & killed 242+ journalists.

This violates Art 79 of Add’l Protocol (I) of Geneva Conventions.

These Are War Crimes.

I just want to say for the record that when the history books are written centuries from now, I believe the election of Donald Trump in a free and fair election in 2024 will go down as one of the most senseless and self-destructive own goals in human history

We all know how that turned out.

Reinhold Niebuhr was also (and imo, rightly) pessimistic that education could cure political dysfunction. To his eyes, communities vote selfishly based on what seizes power for their side, and then reverse-engineer the moral arguments thusly. Can't "educate" that away.

Similar to Jackie Robinson Day this year when MLB videos played in the ballparks never said exactly why his MLB debut was noteworthy. Every player wore 44 just because?
This was Vin Scully's call of Henry Aaron's 715th home run. Tonight Major League Baseball cut off the first sentence, starting it with the "What a marvelous moment" part because they don't want to anger the white supremacists who run our country and of whom Rob Manfred is an ardent supporter.
