I think if you don't want to buy things from major retailers today or any day that is great, and I would also love for everyone to remember that successful movements usually need to involve labor, and to start thinking of yourself as a worker first and a consumer second

The attack on DEI shows why liberals should stop arguing about "strategic" use of language forever. DEI stands for three uncontroversial virtues that most every American accepts, and the right still turned it into a vile slur. i say this as someone who does research in this field: is it that "no one has any good idea of what to do about it" or that the people with good, effective ideas are ignored and drowned out by people with terrible ideas?
The far-right radicalization of young men (and almost exclusively young men) is a global phenomenon, and no one has any good idea of what to do about it.
