I doubt this is our first CBP suicide, and it certainly won't be the last. It's sad when anyone dies, and I guess my advice would be don't do a job that puts your soul at hazard.

This is, I think, the wrong way to think about elections in the US. There is definitely a Nazi Party but it is in coalition with and not the entirety of the Republican Party. When people say "we need a sane conservative party," they're saying "we need the Republicans to kick the Nazis out again.
You cannot have elections every four years with your options being either the Nazi Party or democracy. It’s not sustainable.
This administration has only been in office for ten months. People’s appetite for reform is only going to increase as the damage accumulates over the next year.

I mean, you don’t know this, no one knows this, the range of possible outcomes is wider than we can foresee, both good and bad

I don't need perfect justice but I do need substantial reforms to the political system
Some things will be better and some things will be worse, and if you think everyone who deserves to be punished will be and everyone who deserves to be rewarded will be, you should start tempering your expectations now.

We bought an induction rage earlier this month, and when it arrived, the stove worked but the cooktop didn't. Error code indicated it was something with the control board, so Frigidaire agreed to return and replace it, which was annoying but I prefer that than getting a potential lemon repaired.
