End Conservatism With Finality (he/they)
Pinned
For folks who don't know me, I am a complete idiot. All of my ideas are bad. You should definitely ignore me.

And I am fully aware my heterodox opinions infuriate you.

But here's the thing: I truly don't care if my opinions infuriate you.

You should be infuriated at Trump & Biden for this, tho.
People honestly on here upset Doctor Who was a woman and also upset that Doctor Who was Black. Come on now.
I understand Jodie Whittaker died under mysterious circumstances and we want to honor her legacy but it's crazy we haven't had a new episode of Doctor Who for like five years

This is sincerely some of the most beautiful art I’ve ever seen and I have an arts degree.

The use of the medium is fascinating. There’s movement in her clothing. There’s directionality and color and meaning and I love this a lot.
I know it’s been a while (sorry) and it’s not even great light to show you, but I’ve just finished my first embroidery of 2026. 😊 I hope it was with the wait and that you enjoy!🪡🌿🦉✨

We should be carving up a bunch of rocks, doing what Liu Cixin wrote about but like in a stable terrestrial cave that cave men could get to. Just engraving our knowledge in as many languages as possible, leaving Rosetta stones everywhere so they can figure out the writing.

The only reason to try to reduce voting is that you’re afraid the people don’t agree with you.

Everyone understands that what’s happening right now is a minority trying to exercise power over the majority.

That is anti-democratic by definition.

Massie on Howard Lutnick: "He should just resign. Three people in Great Britain resigned for less than what we've seen Howard Lutnick lie about. He clearly went to the island, if we believe what's in these files. He was in business with Jeffrey Epstein."

I view having to constantly call my Congressperson to beg them to do the right thing as a major flaw.

It’s like begging the leadoff hitter in a baseball game to please try to win the game. Please swing at this next pitch. Please attempt to play baseball.

That’s what you’re doing when you call.

In sports, I am a Cubs fan.

When I post about how the Cubbies suck this year, or about how the Cubbies fucked up that last inning, or how the fucking third base coach ruined that play or whatever?

That doesn’t mean I am a Cardinals fan.

But politics people think me criticizing Democrats is bad!

In the Democratic Party in the House, above everything it’s Pelosi whose fault this is.

She’s done an amazing amount of work to make sure the levers of government are pulled only by conservatives.

It never matters how bad things get, she’s there to protect the rich from any and all accountability.
Or... Hear me out on this one... We stop having political dynasties.

🤔 Jeffrey Epstein Communicated with Famous Russians and Tried to Meet Putin — WP.

Epstein developed relationships with high-ranking Russian officials and businessmen, including a graduate of the Academy of FSB.

He himself repeatedly tried to organize a meeting with Putin for several years.

Congress has the power to subpoena witnesses, hold public hearings, and establish an independent commission to review the Epstein files.

What remains unclear is whether lawmakers have the political will to use those tools.

Okay but this is why physicians aren’t experts on public health.

Public health on vaccines isn’t a medical question. That answer is: “here’s the vaccine.”

It isn’t a Pharma question. That answer is: “make the vaccine.”

It’s a compliance question. It’s not a “please take it.” It’s “you must.”
BASH: Is this measles outbreak a consequence of the administration undermining support for vaccines?

DR OZ: I don't believe so. Secretary Kennedy has been advocating for measles vaccines

BASH: Oh, come on

It’s insane that we have to call and beg our Democratic leaders not to fund a government organization that is shooting and killing us.

Why did the American audience apparently hear different audio of JD Vance's appearance at the Olympics than the audio heard by the rest of the world?

NBC denies muting. But it's part of overall disturbing developments in the US corporate media world.
The world heard JD Vance being booed at the Olympics. Except for viewers in the US | Bryan Armen Graham
The real risk for American broadcasters is not that dissent will be visible. It is that audiences will start assuming anything they do not show is being hidden

Someone once said “all politics is local.”

That isn’t true.

The sort of organizing you do to get your statehouse to do something isn’t the sort of organizing you do to get Congress to do something.

But even then if it’s something like “oppose Trump” or “sign the UN Law of the Sea” it’s different.

It isn’t savvy or smart to think your legislators should need to be constantly begged to do the right thing.

It isn’t “familiarity with the system.”

It’s bullshit false consciousness.

Your legislators should represent what you want as much as the evil fuckers get Republicans to.

Here a rich white nepo baby businessman who was on the 2024 DNC Platform Committee describes folks who want ICE out of Portland as “provocateurs and opportunists.”

This is what I’m talking about a lot today: Democratic electeds who hate Democratic voters.

We shouldn’t have to beg them to like us.
Portland, OR mayor Keith Wilson responding to public demands that ICE's land use permit be rescinded after they gassed thousands of peaceful men women and children.

Kinda curious what "the course" we should stay is here, Keith? Watching ICE gas, abduct and sometimes shoot our neighbors?

The centrist Democrats’ solution to everything is always something that doesn’t include centrist Democrats actually doing anything in a statehouse or Congress.

It’s always “beg your legislators to do what they promised in the election they would do.”

That isn’t how democracy works.

Who has taught Democratic Party Americans that constantly begging their own party’s representatives to not sell them out to the Republicans isn’t how it’s supposed to go.

You shouldn’t accept your representatives constantly making excuses for why they can’t get the right thing done. Ever.

If you’re a screenshotting piece of shits who doesn’t understand democracy at all?

Get fucked.

Party primaries undermine democracy, they don’t help it.

Fucking idiots.
