I am terrible at marketing myself, but here, I wrote a queer creature feature set just outside my hometown in rural Ontario and maybe you would like to read it??

obsessed with "Forest Euphoria" to the point that it's now a week overdue at the library (oops! going back today!) and I will need to buy my own copy now as soon as possible
Patricia Ononiwu Kaishian, a Putnam Valley native who’s currently the curator of mycology at the New York State Museum in Albany, is the author of the new book "Forest Euphoria: The Abounding Queerness of Nature."

It's been a cold, gloomy, and wet day so I decided to revisit my photos from a few weeks ago. It was a similarly cold and wet day when I took these photos, but these two curious polar bear cubs made you forget the weather instantly. I took these from atop a tundra buggy, safely out of reach. 🌿🐻‍❄️🦊

Had the chance to hike in Muir Woods when visiting SF. Beautiful place.

Ancient redwoods breathe,
sunlight drifts in still streams,
roots hold time softly

My favorite part of drafting is writing “then stuff happens” and continuing on to the next part I have figured out already. Sometimes the only way to know the middle is to write the ending.

The words do not need to come out in order. That's for editing and that's for another day when these words may not even survive the night on the page. You can do whatever you want. Draw the boundaries later
