Okay, I'd heard good things about wuxia RPG When Winds Meet, but I was not aware it had a goose mount which it describes as the land's 'greatest overlord'..

I played Hymer 2000 today and finished it in around 2hrs. It's a poetic visual novel embedded in a Y2K style operational system. I adore the delivery of the sombering story and the "useless" decorative applications in the game. Perfect for a Friday evening cry

The development of this incident is beyond appalling (the airport made the footage public and people bullied the disabled singer and forced HIM to apologize?)

Reading Ball X Pit reviews (game is fire btw) and again seeing the top negative reviews be like "first 10 hours was great but gets boring after I 100%ed everything, not worth the price" with 30+ hours of playtime... The game costs literally 58 CNY/8 USD for us

Nice post! To add to the discussion, with how popularized score-based review systems are these days, the definition of good/bad games seems to be a linear scale, which is particularly reductive considering how many shapes and forms games come in compared to other formats of media/art
Playing bad games doesn't ruin your credibility, it actually makes you learn about what you like. You start noticing effort, weird ideas, stuff that polished games smooth over.
Play more broken, weird, and ambitious trash; it’s good for your taste and good for your brain.

Nice post! To add to the discussion, with how popularized score-based review systems are these days, the definition of good/bad games seems to be a linear scale, which is particularly reductive considering how many shapes and forms games come in compared to other formats of media/art

My recent hobby is watching this ex-gaming streamer who bikes through China and posts videos everyday. His video only has a 2-day gap between recording and posting so the content is always fresh. Also a nice way to see unfiltered scenes of areas I don't know well
