We have an economic system where a full time job doesn't pay a living wage. Taxpayers get the bill so companies don't have to pay. In 2025, Walmart got 24% of all SNAP spending. Taxpayers fund benefits and Walmart profits from benefits. Nothing is cheap if you pay for it twice.
