Building a more inclusive & resilient democracy must include holding them all accountable. Every one.

30 minutes. Some deportees described sexual assault. Detainee describes the guard sexually assaulting most detainees. Lights left on all day. Prisoners not given clean water.

Now the DHS tour. Nobody spoke to the detainees. Noem's video was in a different area of the prison.

Found that infamous “Deep State” that subvents the law and victimizes innocents for the benefit of a powerful few.
The DOJ is continuing to redact more mentions of Donald Trump found in the Epstein files.

On the left the original version, on the right today’s version.

ICE says it’s going after the worst of the worst, and that appears to apply only to its recruits
Woman comes to US at age 6. Graduates nursing school. Work permit. No criminal record. Snatched and imprisoned by ICE for 6 months now. About to be forced back to Honduras. A life destroyed and one less nurse. Merry Christmas.

Muting a Black woman to claim the vote was unanimous is so incredibly on the nose
The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

The Kennedy Center, the Department of Defense & the US Institute of Peace can only be renamed by acts of Congress. Their names have NOT been changed. Trump's playing a sad sad but ultimately meaningless game. Erasing his shallow imprint on DC at the end of his term will be celebrated in the streets.

This is extraordinary, heartbreaking, and a red alert warning sign for our democracy.

These people are about to be federal judges, and they refuse to answer whether the U.S. Capitol was attacked on January 6.

They say they can't comment because it's "a political controversy".
Sen. BLUMENTHAL: Was the U.S. Capitol attacked on January 6, 2021?

Trump’s “It’s Not My Fault” speech is a mess, yes. He didn’t bother offering condolences to the recent horrific shootings or explain his unprovoked aggression in the Caribbean.

But mostly it’s proof that no one in the WH has any juice or courage.

All losers.

ICE pepper-sprayed this 1-year-old girl.

Once at the hospital, the doctor had to call in a poison control specialist.

They had never seen anyone that young pepper sprayed.

Another horrific story.
