Let's find a "working cat" home for Rutabaga!

This former mama was a happy outdoor cat until she hit a rough patch & seeks an adopter who can help her enjoy indoor-outdoor life.

Poor Rutabaga is terrified at the shelter but in her past life, she was an easygoing girl cared for by a kind neighbor 🧵

I've been bedridden for the last 10 months for medical reasons, and I'm still about 1000$ behind on being able to pay for my car and storage. I'm sorry to keep asking, but if you could send a couple dollars, it'd really help.

Vaccines are safe and effective.

Autism isn't caused by vaccines, and autistic people and their families deserve our support.

When you want information, ask your doctor.

It's more important than ever for all of us to speak plainly, truthfully, and directly about public health.

SARS-CoV-2 is airborne. It spreads and can linger in the air, a bit like cigarette smoke. High quality masks/respirators are critical to prevent infection from this dangerous SARS virus and other airborne pathogens

If you, like me, are the parent of a neuro-atypical child dreading this autism press conference, please remember: These are the people hurting our kids. Not us. They are the ones stigmatizing and pathologizing them. They are the ones peddling untested science. And we should be very, very angry.

If we're all a little autistic, why is the world so cruel to autistic people?

The phrase "we're all a little autistic" doesn't just trivialise autistic struggles- it's often weaponised against us. Several followers have told me their psychologists even used the line to deny them a valid diagnosis.

Current statistics suggest 30% of autistic adults are in employment, defined as at least 1 hour of paid work a week. A repeated theme I've found, interviewing autistic people, is burnout, breakdown & stepping back from work they love because it becomes impossible. It's a huge problem.

It’s been estimated that about 400 million people worldwide have had long COVID. For some, Paxlovid can relieve some of the symptoms.

No wolf pups were born in Flanders in 2024 + Belgium is only home to approx. 20 wolves total. Conservation organizations are asking for wildlife crossings and fencing along high-risk roads, + hope to see more punishment for wolf poachers.
Wolf population in Belgium is hanging by a thread, says wildlife group
"Everything is hanging by a thread; if one of the adult wolves is hit, the chances of having cubs shrink enormously."

They don't realise that flu and covid infections *make* the needy, weak, and vulnerable.
