I’ll take a look at it
Generally economists recommend making your economy dependent on seven to ten billionaires, though as few as five can work in a pinch. But because best practices are to get everyone around the same table and hash things out, anything over ten seats gets a bit unwieldy

One of my uncles was kidnapped by ICE yesterday. He was always there for my family and even helped my family afford my graduation party when I graduated college. 💔

Anything helps. ICE has no humanity. Hard workers literally being torn from their families.

Can’t be understated how the status quo on this stupid bridge entrance (which resembled the cinder block foundation of a house that was removed long ago) was profoundly disrespectful to thousands of daily users, and how this simple act immediately communicates that Mamdani respects us
Zohran just went out and fixed the Williamsburg Bridge bike entrance. Just did it. No faffing, no nonsense. Bam. Fixed.

common misconception. it's actually the microphone that's in a car driving away. Until the 60s, the only way sound engineers could reproduce this auditory effect was by placing the band on a flatbed truck and putting a brick on the accelerator. then an RCA engineer realized you could swap roles
Songs should have to end, no more fading out bullshit. Your band isn’t in a car driving away
This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

3X Colorado gov candidate Greg Lopez (R) is leaving the GOP to run as an unaffiliated candidate. Lopez says he's not changing his values and positions, which include a ban on abortion, ending the popular vote, and cutting education funding to spur teachers to "be creative."

By the way: "Don't arrest people for misdemeanor possession" isn't some radical policy. It was SEATTLE's policy until 2023, when the city created these misdemeanors. And it was the city's policy for low-level drug felonies starting in 2009. The war on drugs was revived in Seattle RECENTLY.
My story isn't a simple "debunking" of the rightwing narrative; rather, it's a piece I was reporting already about how Seattle's police chief appears to have issued a directive in a vacuum, alarming cops and helping set of a right-wing media firestorm aimed at new Mayor Katie Wilson.
SPD Chief Sent Email Overstating New Drug Diversion Policy, Sparking False Narrative in Right-Wing Media

Spent part of the weekend reporting out this story, only to have KOMO drop a false, ragebait version that went predictably viral on RW social media
