I know this will impact tens of millions of people, obviously, but I'm currently thinking of my old refugee clients, mostly Afghans, who were 100% reliant on SNAP to eat. Mostly big families, with a single earner (the husband) who worked minimum wage jobs cleaning hotels or working groceries.

The U.S navy is being used to essentially do piracy. You can't just go blow up random fishing boats, murdering their crews. What's worse is that this is the exact kind of behaviour China engages in. Worse in fact. At least the Chinese navy didn't blow up and murder Filipino fishermen yet.

We had a NATO coalition and tens of thousands of troops in Afghanistan for 20 years and never managed to stop the cultivation of opium.

I have no idea what sort of brain damage the Trump administration has that makes them think they’re going to drone strike their way into ending cocaine use.

How exactly is this different from Kristallnacht?
I spoke to a Venezuelan woman who was arrested in this raid and later released with her 4yo son. She said agents broke down their door, pointed guns at them and made sexualized remarks about Venezuelan women. When she returned to her apartment it was boarded up and all her possessions were gone.

When the MAGA era ends, Americans need to have a serious discussion about establishing better safeguards for their republic. Because the only reason Trump is failing at becoming a dictator so far, is his incompetence.
They would probably counter-coup against him if he does that.

Just so everyone is clear, this right here is what an actual violation of the First Amendment looks like. When the head of the FCC says a company needs to do something about someone who displeased the administration or lose its license, that’s no joke unconstitutional
