Personalized gold bars from the Swiss.
Used jumbo jet from Qatar.
Huge amounts of $$$ from crypto.

The amount of corruption in the White House is at unconscionable levels. We need some real serious ethics across the federal government.

Listen…If y’all want to talk honesty, then let’s be honest about all of it.

The promises, the hypocrisy, the receipts.

Because what you campaigned on and what you’re doing? Two very different things.

I will never forget having to edit Jamal’s final, posthumous piece for the Washington Post, after he was murdered.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

Opinion | Jamal Khashoggi: What the Arab world needs most is free expression
The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.

Today we won a big victory in Texas but the fight for democracy is not over. We all need to steel ourselves for the battles ahead. We won't win them all, but we can never lose sight of what we need to do to prepare fee and fair elections.

Two things we know

1) ICE has 48 hrs to make detention deaths public, but waited 10 DAYS to inform the public of the 10/23 death of Gabriel Garcia Aviles "after complications of alcohol withdrawal syndrome"

2) ICE appears to have had "no mechanism to provide prescribed medication" at the time 1/2

🚨 I will never look away. Neither should you. This is what ICE is doing. They are not police, they are untrained, morally bankrupt monsters. This cannot go on. We need to organize for these children. They may have weapons and power, but we see this. This is fuel. 1/2

Not sure the point of deporting hard working people who fled awful conditions in their own countries and are caring for the sick, elderly, and paralyzed, not only harming our own economy, but vulnerable people who rely on this assistance.

The US isn’t “at risk of losing” its measles elimination status. Just at risk of admitting it.

Canada lost its status earlier this month, and people treated it like an international embarrassment. But let’s be clear:

Canada still has functioning disease-surveillance. The US does not.

✅ Reality check: Jeffrey Epstein was a civilian, with no government contracts, nothing he did should ever be considered classified.
