Not surprisingly, Labour really, really, does not want to discuss how Labour Together undermined Corbyn and its leaders led the campaign that installed Starmer as leader. Lots more in this story yet to run...

It’s not just the disgusting misinformation the UK mainstream media spew about trans people, it’s also about what they DON’T talk about!

100K people attend London Trans Pride and it’s *crickets*

100K people attend a Tommy Robinson hate rally and it’s all over the front pages! 😖

It’s blatant bias!
The grim salivating of our press at the prospect of spreading more hate about trans people. Has there been an uglier moment in Britain's modern history?

Rowling has chosen to respond to language she did not like (due to its perceived sympathy towards trans people) by launching an intellectually lazy attack on a newspaper, primarily staffed by women, with a strong track record on reporting on feminist issues.

Stroll in the ornamental garden. Somebody had lost/left a pink balloon, and I had a lot of fun throwing it in the air and making it an alien shape in front of English country garden loveliness.

Surprisingly tricky to get the balloon to go where I wanted. Very uncooperative.

Disabled people have been warning that the “embrace mass covid reinfections” narrative was first pushed by anti vax right wing libertarians, now they’ve consolidated power. They are against disease mitigation and have pushed anti mitigation ideas mainstream.
A little more on RFK's new vaccine committee:

Malone - claimed vaccines cause AIDS

Kulldorff - promoted mass COVID infection

Meissner - opposed vaccines and masks for kids

Pebsworth - worked at antivax nonprofit

Levi - FL Surgeon General cited his paper when recommending not to get COVID vax

Unless they were born in 2021, they lived through his first presidency. They lived through the Muslim ban, the “bad hombres”, the “very fine” Nazis, the Wall fiasco, how he behaved on Covid, mocking disabled people. They saw that and wanted more. They DID vote for this.
i really, really need people to understand that they *didn't* vote for this, no matter how much you insist they did. insisting "they voted for this" elides the information environment that led them to vote the way they did in the first place, the thing that actually needs fixing.

A vote for Reform is not a vote for anything new, disruptive, or ground changing. It's not a vote for working class representation. It's a vote for Tories who left the Tory party because it wasn't cruel and nasty enough.
