And with how good genAI is now on imitating art styles, it's becoming more and more common to see folks wrongly accusing artists of using AI art. These artists were probably the ones that the AI algorithms were trained on, without their permission. Research thoroughly, and double check first!
I think we’ve got to be really careful when pointing out flaws in AI-made art to not heavily focus on how realistic or not it looks because people make exceptionally good, seemingly illogical, unrealistic, fantastical stylised art all the time.

Between Greta Thunberg and her fellow activists being kidnapped by Israel and Trump turning LA into his personal war zone, I hope people realise that protest, no matter how peaceful, will always be met with violence by dying empires.

So proud of Belgium!

did you enjoy creating it? did you have fun? does it make you happy thinking about it and sharing it? then that's it. you did it. you found the secret sauce. "was that a waste of time?" of course not, fuckface. expressing yourself creatively is always worthwhile. you're doing great

Figure skating world championships were considered to be for men only until 1902, when Madge Syers showed up and took home silver and the ISU went "whooooops guess we need to segregate them."

It happened again in 1992 Olympic skeet shooting: Zhang Shan took gold and then they segregated the event.

I keep fucking saying this and people are like oh she doesn’t profit from the game or whatever. The hell she doesn’t. She DOES. And she uses the money for evil. Do NOT touch that IP. I don’t care that it was important to me as a kid/teen. Fuck all of that.
And to be so very clear, JKR has openly stated that the money she makes from Harry Potter (in all its forms, right now) goes directly to conservative and specifically anti-trans causes.

Do not financially engage with Harry Potter. Don't even engage with it for free. It's a Faustian IP, do not.
I wish I knew how to get cis "allies" to actually care about trans lives more than just empty words and affirmations

Reposting an image about how you support trans kids means fuck all when you pay hundreds of dollars to go see a licensed Harry Potter concert the very next day

Finally, something to work with that explains why everything under the sun is being called “A/I” now.

Wish tools would just call it what it is and let people decide if they want to use it

I have so much respect for people who examined their gender, found they were happy and it fit, and unlocked cis+. Thinking about your own gender and what it means to you, even if you know you're cis, is a genuinely good thing for everyone to do

The link between autism and trans identities isn't because we're being "coerced into transitioning," it's because as autistic people we care not at all for arbitrary social norms, and gender is the largest arbitrary social norm of all.

Honestly, this isn't just about the US, so many fascist regimes these days look to America as a bellweather as to what they can try to get away with themselves. This will have a knock on effect for women, ethnic minorities, the disabled and LQBTQ+ people everywhere.

Stay strong. Stay safe.

The millennial experience is growing up with the internet, and watching it go from a free, open, democratic, and eclectic ecosystem to a wasteland of five websites controlled by billionaires, and now seeing it quickly fill up with AI-generated slop.

I want our World Wide Web back.
i don't want to hear your most boomer complaint. what's your most millennial complaint?

I've been passed this mural a few times and always kicked myself for not getting my phone out quick enough to snap a photo. Thankfully today we stopped in traffic and I finally had chance to take a photo :)

I think it’s weird when people ask artists to quiet down about their identities and just do art. being queer informs every part of my art from how I draw people to what stories I want to spend time on.

if people aren’t allowed exist as ourselves, neither is our art that you enjoy so much.

The reward section is my happy place.
I usually write "video game time" or "chocolate" 😂

What would your reward section say?
