Np 😊 I also struggle with "loving" myself but when I heard someone explain it like that it also was like a lightbulb moment lol. I guess it should really say something like "respect yourself."

(And as a victim of domestic abuse, I'm not saying this to blame victims at all! However long is takes to get out of that situation, it's never your fault. So i say this as more... well this is about recognising the signs sooner I guess)

The way I've seen it explained is you need to know your worth. Some people end up ignoring or not recognising red flags and taking longer to get out of bad situations because at some level they may feel they don't deserve better. So it's about loving yourself enough to not tolerate poor treatment 💜

I'm not speaking for all queer people but I personally encourage allies to be visible with their support because it makes it less of a signal that you're coming out to non allies. It provides room for someone who feels unsafe to just say they're an ally (around family for example)
