It is really frustrating that almost all advice you see about ADHD tends to be a rotation of the same suggestions, like "use body doubling" or "gamify it" or "use a timer," etc.
It's not that these things do not help, it's just . . . is that it? There's nothing that helps more deeply?

need me a bald Frenchman level of philosophising to theorize why even "the liberal cooler catholic school" w/o strict paragraphs like this but still having a cisheterosexist worldview "in the background", to the point kids of divorce are a rarity with sinning parents (!), can damage a queer kid (me)
Catholic schools are used as legal conversion therapy because you have to wear a gendered uniform cut your hair a certain way etc etc and you are expelled if you don’t. Do you understand this. do you understand how many kids at each school are there for that reason
I don’t actually think you people comprehend the kind of suffering on even a school level scale the queer people and children at these institutions have to go through like you’re actually brain dead stupid

MeToo did not go far enough. People were saying "MeToo has gone too far" when it had barely just picked up momentum.
It was an attempt at reckoning with how institutionally misogynistic and sexually exploitative most institutions are and what women are constantly put through. So it was crushed.
