Humanity matters.

Goodness is not goodness that seeks advantage.

Without hope, without witness, without reward.

What happened before Mayor Baraka’s arrest needs daylight.

Did masked ICE agents let him in just so they could arrest and perp walk him to send a message of fear. Because that’s what it looks like.

We’re sliding into fascism—and fast. And if we don’t stop it now, we may not get another chance.

Thank you @victorerikray.bsky.social for calling this what it is.

Earlier this year, I argued that media needs to use the word "Segregationist" instead of anti-DEI, or "culture wars".

In New York, ICE detained a busload of farmworkers that were actively involved in a union drive.

In Washington state, ICE dragged a farmworkers’ rights activist and leader out of his car to detain him.

Be warned: attacking unions is a hallmark of fascism.

The only appropriate response to this question is an unequivocal YES.

The President is bound by oath to uphold the Constitution, and by duty to ensure the laws of this country are faithfully executed—whether he likes them or not.

Trump, asked if he has to 'uphold the Constitution,' says, 'I don't know'
Trump said on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” that he’s following lawyers’ advice as he tries to execute rapid deportations, arguing that giving immigrants due process is time-consuming.

This is an official plan for ethnic cleansing. If you supported Israel for the past 18 months or so under the assumption that this was about the hostages you were taken for a ride.

If you still support Israel's assault on Gaza, you support ethnic cleansing. It's that simple.
Israel plans to occupy and flatten all of Gaza if no deal by Trump's trip
Trump has effectively given Netanyahu a green light to do as he sees fit, Israeli officials say.

Allow me to address the elephant in the room: The decades-long outsourcing of domestic manufacturing to China was not an insidious Chinese conspiracy for dominance but the greedy strategy of the American ruling class to explode its profit margins by exploiting global inequality.

For all of these reasons and also because ableism and eugenics are a tool of fascism. Include disabled people in your movement work.
You should fight for disabled people because it’s the right thing to do. Ableism feeds eugenics. No one is expendable. Our value should never be tied to economic contributions.

Failing that, do it because one day you will become disabled. Given enough time, almost everyone joins our minority group.
