I'm still pissed off that all throughout 2024, if you said "no, we're not actually in a recession" or pointed out that wages have been growing at the bottom, you'd be accused of hating poor people and just stanning the Democrats. So many progressives fell for billionaire propaganda.
One of the most blackpilling things about the Biden years was that we heard for *years* before that that ppl would happily support a slight rise in costs if it meant that lower wage workers got a raise & when we saw that actually get implemented a bit, ppl lost their fucking minds with rage

I never particularly liked Sanders because I find him grating and I think class first socialism is a bad way of looking at the world to begin with, but man you just can't look at this site in particular and conclude that his political career has been anything other than an enormous net negative.

The thing that really pisses me off about the “Kamala lost because she was a bad candidate” talking point is it implies that Trump somehow came across as a better candidate than her. I’m sorry, but no. Unless you’re a Nazi or a moron (or both) Trump was easily the worse candidate.

“Voters in a democracy are responsible for the government they end with” should not be a controversial stance. If you want Democrats to “do something,” you need to vote for them first. That’s how elections work.
