This is a profound evil.

There is no and cannot be any compromise with this. There can only be eradicating the evil acts and exiling the actors from public life forever. Preferably locked up for life.
ICE Agents enter Target with no warrant and violently tackle two American citizen employees, evidently because they didn't "look American" enough. (DHS refused to explain their rationale, so we have to guess.)

The injured Americans were later dumped in parking lots miles away in sub-zero weather.

Now, tonight's local urgent needs.

I am very, very ill at this point, and that's not going to change for a while, apparently.

Only two, and I have GOT to get these off my desk, because they involve tight deadlines, and also there's a huge line of folks behind them needing help.

Okay, tonight's inventory selection. Just one, and you've already seen it this week, but I'm too ill to do anything more, and also? It fits the feature.

Today's #TBT work is a pair of Skystone earrings [shown below].

Tonight's selection is not terribly dissimilar, but unique.

It's #ThrowbackThursday at The NDN Silver Blog, with a #TBT featured work that dates back to April of 2009, just shy of seventeen full years ago, and an old style that Wings made wholly his own: wingssilverwork.com/throwbackthu....

I always return to the fact that these are the conditions in the more prominent city in the country and ignorance is no excuse *particularly* with the way Kalief Browder’s loved ones and advocates made sure to share his story when he passed.

Gee, I sure do wonder why this information wasn't included in the headline but instead saved for the opening line of the article:

Mayor Brandon Johnson’s administration is testing the waters on the idea of selling naming rights and sponsorships at Chicago’s two major airports.

It *does* have a track record of permanently blinding people with point blank less lethal rounds to the head for protesting stuff like that.

This isn’t some leftist radical. It‘s Trump supplicant and Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson saying that ICE shooting mothers in the head is “what ice is designed to do by its very nature.”

He’s right.
Mike Johnson comes out against additional guardrails on ICE as Democrats call for it.

“I think there's a lot of Democrats playing games right now with national security and with law enforcement. And I think it's dangerous. Ice is doing what ice is designed to do by its very name.”
