This one is smaller, created using the last of a coil of memory wire. It's the same price, though [$350 + s/h/i] because of the hugely valuable beads he used in it. The lapis alone was a small fortune. The pearls? Estate items; when they're gone, they're gone. Tanzanite? All of it.

It's called "Snow and Shadow." Doesn't even have a link yet.

Memory wire; jumbo AAA+ grade freshwater pearls; kyanite; Madagascar Labradorite; ultra-high-grade royal lapis lazuli; iolite; kyanite; Hill Tribe fine silver; 2 odd beads labeled "jade" [likely Pietersite & gray moonstone]:

Today's feature is an all-new solid sterling silver cuff, completed just yesterday [and shown below].

It's named, though, for the forest. Light. Wintergreen [and winter green].

Wings has new[ish] gemstone bead works that fit those colors and spirits.

It makes the smooth band glow, but leaves a little oxidation residue between the ingot "petals," giving it a richly aged patina.

The post explains the name [hint: wintergreen is indigenous here at high elevations].
November 17, 2025 at 3:18 AM
Wings the overlaid each one individually atop the band, the two larger ones side by side at the center, flanking them with the two smaller ones on each end. Then he oxidized them heavily, and buffed the whole to a medium-high polish.
November 17, 2025 at 3:17 AM
It's hard, heavy, labor-intensive work, accomplished using a five-pound solid steel jeweler's hammer. The specialized anvil mold and stamp create each blossom effectively from *underneath*; when freed from the mini-anvil, they're turned right side up, the fluted petals rising in sharp relief.
November 17, 2025 at 3:16 AM
The band itself is heavy-gauge sterling silver half-round wire, which has a convex surface. Normally, he stamps the outer surface of the band, despite the curvature, but for this one, he elected to leave it unadorned.

Today's all-new featured work, completed only yesterday, is a spare and elegant cuff called "Frost On the Wintergreen": wingssilverwork.com/frost-on-the....

Solid sterling silver.

Tonight's selection is a cuff set with an almost-but-not-quite square cabochon, beautifully beveled, in "Turning Blue": wingssilverwork.com/turning-blue....

Sterling silver; OLD natural American turquoise that we believe to be Sleeping Beauty. All freehand deep spiral filework:

Okay, tonight's inventory selection. Yup, just one, and it's not lapis, either [but it is turquoise].

Why? Because I've got four new works I want to get up tonight.

So. Today's feature is a cuff [shown below], with giant lapis and square Sksytones on incredible silverwork:

My favorite aspect of the band, though, is the textured border work. It's vaguely reminiscent of the texture of old tufa-cast work, but Wings has accomplished all of this via hundreds of a trikes of the hammer against a single tiny divot-end stamp.
November 16, 2025 at 1:18 AM
The band, though, is what really makes this work. It's cut medium-wide of a decently heavy gauge of sterling silver, with spare, elegant, flowing stampwork. Down the center, two parallel lines are deeply scored, also freehand, via chasing a single short chisel-end stamp.
November 16, 2025 at 1:17 AM
It's flanked by a pair of square cabochons of natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise, a beautiful bright sky blue with small patches of ivory-gold and inky purple matrix. What makes these especially powerful is their rolling, freeform surfaces, adding dimensionality and depth.
November 16, 2025 at 1:16 AM
At center, and slightly elevated, is a giant oval of lapis lazuli, its color a mix of royal and cobalt blues stippled throughout with darker shades of violet blue and indigo. It's a specimen matrixed with both tiny specks of white calcite and the internal stardust shimmer of iron pyrite.

Today's featured work is a cuff bracelet called "When the Water Comes": wingssilverwork.com/when-the-wat....

Okay, tonight's inventory selections.

Today's feature is a masterwork by any measure, an old-style collar necklace with 5 pendants [shown below] in royal lapis and turquoise.

We have 3 other necklaces in a different vintage style, one royal lapis and two turquoise.
November 15, 2025 at 6:15 AM
At either end, the design is framed by two matched square cabochons of royal lapis, with beautifully beveled corners and a deeply saturated violet blue color. Wings kept these settings squarish to match the stones, yet saw-cutting the corners to round them off in softer arcs.
November 15, 2025 at 6:08 AM
It's flanked on either side by matched large oval cabochons of natural Fox turquoise, from what used to be the old Cortez Mine in Nevada: bright sky blue with ivory host rock and pale blue marbling, patchy copper and golden-bronze matrix, and inky purple/blue-black speckles and veins.
November 15, 2025 at 6:05 AM
The name comes mostly from the center focal pendant, a giant royal lapis cabochon in a shield cut. It does look like a shield, but as the close-up photo shows so clearly, to us it could be nothing but the great head of our Elder Brother, Buffalo.
