BREAKING: My dog only pooped once instead of twice today.
My biggest journalism pet peeve (for today) is when PR people use, "BREAKING," in the subject line of an email and the press release is announcing something like a new flavor of Doritos. Please be so for real.

In 1999, not long after Columbine, I had a mental health breakdown. It took me years to recover. (Not a secret. I've written about it.)
Unfortunately, I was too busy trying to heal and graduate from college to invent Facebook.

I know social media is supposed to be the "marketplace of ideas" blah blah blah, but it's literally making my stomach turn to see people comment on stories they clearly didn't read.

Unprofessionalism in the #NFL is a pet peeve. That taunting call was deserved and Rams responded. You cannot taunt the QB *directly* in front of a ref.
