Democracy is not divisiveness. If the people tell their leads to divest from Israel's illegal occupation, apartheid, and genocide, then their leaders should do it. I have stood up time and time again for the rights of our residents and, as mayor, I will work to safeguard and expand those rights.

@willieburnleyjr.bsky.social, too, was always against this. I only joined @ifnotnowboston.bsky.social in November 2023; he’d been involved for years. He’s always been a real one, and for that he too has faced unfair attacks. Somerville, you should make him your mayor. (Also vote yes on 3)

If Bostock is overturned it will set our legal protections back decades. me: so it's your serious contention that if you had used trans inclusive language instead of transphobic language in the bylaw, that would have somehow endangered the existing legal precedent? and that obviously infinitesimally, incalculably small theoretical "risk" (which did not at all exist) was more important than actually listening to the trans members of our community? him: DSA was orchestrating a homophobic attack against my household around the clock over Twitter: litigating anything over Twitter is pointless. DSA does not speak for the LGBTQIA community: they are a hate group not worth any engagement. Arguing with DSA is like arguing with Neo-Nazis or the KKK.
