The #OBBB or #OBBBA would curtail renewable energy, drawing warnings from climate analysts to China hawks. It cuts clean energy subsidies yet taxes renewable projects -- harming jobs + increasing costs. Even Elon calls it a "massive strategic error." #ClimateAction #ClimateCrisis

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

I encourage all those in New York City in favor of Congestion Pricing to attend this rally today. Keeping this law in effect benefits so many... the disabled, elderly, those with young children, bicyclists, pedestrians, the environment, reducing pollution & crowded roads, etc.

In memory of Robyn!

Donald Trump has sent out a letter banning everyone from calling him a felon with instant dismissal for all who disobey.

But he can't fire us.

HUD staffers reporting “pauses” on grant funding. These funds help #unhoused people , cities rebuild communities, and support increasing housing supply. All pieces needed for strong communities.

This is the exact OPPOSITE of what gov’t should be doing.

The LA fires are a natural disaster caused by winds & the driest conditions on record for January, likely spurred by climate change... Water systems aren't built for this many fires requiring this much water from this many hydrants. Fixing this... would be a domestic Manhattan Project. @axios.com

The recent public pushback against new shelters by politicians and residents makes it seem as if the last few years haven’t taught us anything.

Close it down. Prioritize the safety of people first, not cars.
It's as close to consensus as Seattle is ever going to get on anything when 87% of KOMO viewers think Pike Place market should be "closed to cars." Obviously that's a totally unscientific sample, but to reiterate, it's from KOMO viewers. I spoke to them for their story: komonews.com/news/local/s...
Safety concerns revive debate over vehicle access at Seattle's Pike Place Market
Should the street in front of Pike Place Market be closed to cars? It's a question that locals and tourists have been asking for some time.
