I was a bit ill this morning so I got some “full fat” coke (instead of Coke Zero) and I was surprised at the difference and I think it is more about mouth feel than the taste? Like Coke Zero feels crispy and normal Coke is sort of soft? Like it coats the mouth?

One day, we'll be an ancient civilization. I enjoy imagining future cultures, comparing and contrasting the direct works of William Shakespeare with Ten Things I Hate About You as if they were separated by a decade or so.

PSA: do not tag politicians, media or ill-intent people/organisations into replies to people, or in quote posts, unless you know they're ok with that.
This is not only rude but puts others at risk of harm. This is not a game. I will block anyone that does this to me

This looks great - two of the smartest and most intriguing writers I know of, chatting about timely topics together.

Bound to be invigorating for the busy ol’ brain, especially in these weird and wearying times. A most welcome and refreshing invitation! #pukapuka #nzbooks

When I was younger (so much younger than today) I fancied that I might become an international woman of mystery and drive an MG MGB in British racing green. I think it is best for humanity if I stay a pedestrian so my new manicure is as close as I should get to British racing green.

I’m getting close to “finishing” * my second draft. My aim is that my PhD supervisors, publisher and agent all have this reaction when they read it:
a man with a mullet and a mustache is wearing a wig and making a funny face .
Alt: a man with a mullet and a mustache is wearing a wig and making a funny face mouthing “What the fuck”

Marama! 🥚🥚
Three more #kakapo nests found on Anchor Island in the last two days: JEM (2 eggs), Yasmine (1 egg) and Marama (photo; she was protective of her 2 eggs). There are now 11 females nesting on Anchor, 6 on Whenua Hou, and some (TBC) on Chalky. #kakapo2026 #conservation #parrots

Remember to vote this year you need to be enrolled or have your enrolment up to date before advance voting opens - because if you don’t, you can guarantee racist morons like this will definitely be out there voting for the racist dog whistling parties.

THIS IS SOMETHING YOU GET TO LEARN IN A SKEET, AND NOT, AS I DID, IN A KAYAK ON LOWER SABAO LAKE IN MAINE, AS ONE SURFACED RIGHT THE FUCK NEXT TO ME.
Moose are great swimmers, can fully submerge for 30+ sec, & dive up to 5m deep! When a moose submerges its head, the difference btwn water pressure & air pressure causes specialized structures w/in moose nostrils to seal the nose! The deeper they dive, the greater the pressure, the tighter the seal!
Quote this skeet with a random fact you love, that brings you joy, I'll start:

Otters have pockets. The skin under their armpits makes a natural fold that they keep things in.

Here’s me mugshot with the info.
