There are some really dirty mixes of street and festival drugs out there right now in AoNZ, and ODs are picking up at an alarming rate. #kikorangi folks, please spread this far and wide, even if you think you don’t know anyone who’d be at risk. www.highalert.org.nz/alerts-and-n...

I've never seen this many fallen trees around the Hutt Valley before. Every street there's at least one down

PSA for Hutt Valley: "Please do not drive to look at flooding. Please do not drive to check conditions. Please do not drive unless it is essential." congestion is delaying emergency services, power restoration & delaying flood response, preventing crews from reaching vulnerable residents.

Upper & Lower Hutt are pretty much cut off by road atm. SH2 is closed to northbound traffic from the Haywards interchange & Eastern Hutt Rd is closed at the Silverstream rail overbridge

Watching Man on Fire on Disney+ & there's no subtitles for the Spanish dialogue, even the closed captions just say "speaking Spanish" & it's really fucking annoying. Can't even find any subtitles online, at least not from sites that aren't packed with spam/malware

We all need a a timeline cleanse!

There's a bus stop at the top of Gemstone Drive in Birchville & every so often someone leaves a paper bag in the bus shelter with 5-6 empty wine bottles in it & I'd really like to know the story behind this behaviour #intrigued #BusDriverEd

I don't wish to be proscriptive, but if you drive a vehicle in Aotearoa then there's a 50% chance you are not very good at it. The odds increase if you drive any of the following:
-Audi, Merc, BMW or Range Rover
-Suzuki Ignis
-any oversize ute, ESPECIALLY American imports
-tradie's van

#TrainNews: Better Passenger Transport New Zealand has put together its wishlist for Hamilton’s Te Huia rail service, saying if it does get the green light to continue it could add a few extra options.

A wishlist for Te Huia’s timetable adds more options
Better Passenger Transport New Zealand says if Te Huia is granted an extension it would need to find more passengers, and give them more options.

The Māori Seats in parliament are for Māori people. They are a Tiriti-based right not a race-based right.

This is why at Rātana Pā we launched a member's bill to entrench Māori seats - the bare minimum for protect dedicated Māori voice in our parliament.
