At 02:22 pm, MetService weather radar detected a line of severe thunderstorms lying from KAIKOHE to TOWAI to NGUNGURU.

This line is moving towards the southeast, and is expected to lie from PURUA to TAIHARURU at 02:52 pm and from NUKUTAWHITI to KAMO to BREAM HEAD at 03:22 pm.
