Today proves that Democrats will do the right thing, once they've surrendered to the opposition, angered their base, taken credit for their base's resistance, immediately turned a resounding victory into a humiliating self-own, and then act on information they've evidently had the whole time.

A side effect of whipping up your constituents into a group of heavily armed people violently opposed to pedophiles is that those are the people you anger if you suddenly start covering for pedophiles.
this should be obvious but the reason Trump is working desperately against Epstein transparency is because he's guilty

Reading through the Epstein transcripts and yeah I'm beginning to see why all these executives think AI can write emails well.

Sitting through a Copilot for Excel meeting. The gist is "know 3/4ths of the formula you need in order to give Copilot the best chance to do it correctly."

Also, "be sure to check because Copilot can be wrong."

Democrats don’t really want to win
November 7, 2025 at 9:26 PM
They need to hit it it hard. Try to make up for not doing it any of the three other times they could/should have (both Reagan terms, Trump I).

Hell, some Dems are so old it would be *personally* correcting a past mistake.
Dems need to start talking more about how Trump’s dementia means that he can’t distinguish his fantasies from reality. He has completely lost touch with the real world and only knows what his sycophantic courtiers are telling him.
Trump: "If you look at affordability, which they campaigned on, they lied. Because they talked about 'Oh, prices are up' -- no, prices are down under the Trump administration and they're down substantially."
November 7, 2025 at 9:21 PM
Another piece of data for my theory that a lot of what drives your everyday conservative's politics and voting is simply being irritated by someone/something.
Trump: "I don't want to hear about the affordability, because right now we're much less. If you look at energy, we're getting close to $2 a gallon gasoline."

Imagine a reality where even one man tells him in public to go fuck himself.

I love that the ruling is “Chicago fucking rules, fuck the liars and the haters”
After reading Carl Sandburg's "Chicago' poem in full in open court this morning, Federal Judge Sarah Ellis says this about our city:

It should go without saying that is she correct & Donald Trump is lying. #chicago

"Don't start trying to do the right thing, boy-o. You haven't the practice."
MTG: "I'm trying to lead by example to talk to everyone in kindness. We don't all have to agree but that's being an American. And thank goodness for that. Our freedom of speech, our 1A rights, allows us to do that. My personal belief is that I need to set an example by speaking nicely to everyone."

Would be great, but right now all I can think about is how tariffs have made my job so unnecessarily difficult this year.

Also, I don't trust SCOTUS to strike it down without giving Trump a quiet blueprint on how to make it work in the future.
If I had to guess right now (and it is premature!) I'd say the Supreme Court is going to strike down Trump's tariffs.

All three liberals are clearly against the government. Barrett too. Roberts leaning that way. And we haven't even gotten to tax-hater Gorsuch yet.

Centrists don't hate Democratic policies, but their brains have been conditioned to think all Democrats are the activist character from PCU, who was, and I can't stress this enough, not real and written to be unlikeable.
The list of things centrists think Dems should run on is so striking. There's some good stuff in here (expand Medicare to vision & dental), but it's mostly technical tweaks and preservation of the status quo.

Like yes, ban congressional stock trading but it's not exactly a compelling vision.
