I guess it boils down to the fact that I really don't want to see personalised ads. They often feel intrusive, sometimes downright rude (buy a wig, baldy), and are a route we should never have gone down. By all means try to sell me Weetabix, no harm done, but preying on perceived insecurities? Ugh.

Patricia Routledge was wonderful in so many roles (comedic and serious) and although she will always be most famous for Hyacinth - her role as Kitty (written by the equally brilliant and also sadly missed Victoria Wood) was her best in my humble opinion.
