Please watch this.

The Senate killed a bill to ban state regulation of AI by a vote of 99-1 this spring. Now the industry - eager to stay unregulated - and Trump are scheming to shove the provision in the national defense bill.

You need to know this, so you can help stop it.

This is a striking idea. And definitely one worthy of consideration.

Definitely an area to watch
An interesting schism is forming between Republicans who think they actually have to win future elections, and Republicans who think they can just lean back and enjoy their new thousand-year Reich.

Government shutdown, farmers needing to be bailed out, troops in the streets, country bitterly divided, revolving door of appointees, Putin getting coddled, constant chaos … must be another Trump term.

A straight forward, well-presented take by General Hertling on what reaction to expect from the senior leadership of the U.S. Armed Forces when they are addressed by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and, we're now told, by the President himself. This has potential to become a pivotal moment for the US.
One of the most critical attributes of any senior military leader is the ability to adapt. That ability has been tested the last several days, and not by the enemy.

Yes, eyes wide open.
We’re stuck with the most wasteful and clueless administration in history.

Everyone should be concerned by the vulnerability Hegseth is creating with this move. And Trump seems dazed and confused.

Watch every second of this.

I have to say out of all the insane stories out there, this one really continues to boggle my mind.
What’s more astonishing: 1) that the president clearly believes, and repeatedly suggests, that asylum seekers are people from mental asylums, or 2) that no journalist has ever challenged him on this and no mainstream media outlets have done any deep dives on this story?

Well done 👏👏
I like this. Since under RFK Jr, Covid shots are now for people with underlying conditions that put them at risk, Michigan’s chief medical executive Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian states that not having the most recent Covid shot constitutes such an underlying condition.

….. What???
This is all just being said out loud now on the air on Fox “News”, instead of away from the cameras like before. That’s what’s changed. They’re testing the response and normalizing the idea at the same time.

Every time I see one of the Trumps’ grifting grins, I have that automatic wanting to vomit reaction.
There will be sooo much cleanup to be done when this administration of unprecedented incompetence and corruption is gone.
This level of corruption is not normal or acceptable. Even if we are exhausted by each report of it going further and further, we can never grow numb to it.

Trump’s tariffs are something new: an anti-policy, the opposite of policy created by combining ignorance, arrogance and incompetence and nothing else. They’re a disaster for everyone. So why are people going along with Trump’s non-deal deals? I have thoughts.

This, THIS!! I have long thought that the Priority #1 target to exterminate in Russia is their troll farms. All conflict, from political to state-on-state war, pivots on the struggles in the information realm. Russia has weaponized dis/mis/information to a degree the average westerner fails to grasp
One of the other reasons I want to see Putin fall - is then there’s an opportunity to collapse his pan-Western disinformation campaigns.
