Every time I hear an AI CEO talk, no matter which platform, no matter on what subject, I feel like tearing my hair out. They know nothing about the art forms they seek to disrupt.

Due to recent discussions: when I worked at a library, I was trained on how to politely but directly respond to unwanted sexual comments. Unfortunately commonly-marketed fantasies about librarians mean it happens a lot.

Conservative and reactionary centrist media is trying to set up a narrative in which GLP-1s are some kind of existential threat to body positivity and fat activism.
It's bullshit. If you want to lose weight, go for it. But not everyone can or wants to — and they deserve equal treatment regardless.

I just read a review for a new AI "pet" and I just don't get it. They say it can learn and develop a personality, but the point of pets is that they all have their own little weird personalities.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
