I watched Wong Kar Wai's english language film "My Blueberry Nights" a few days ago and even though I thought it was a middling film, I still can't stop thinking about it. It's beautifully shot, melancholic, episodic and something I think is worth a view.

The Million Lives book fest fiasco is so interesting to me. It's like this person who organized it never even attended an event before. Not even a wedding or a high school dance. What kind of delusion would you have to keep this event going forward and not just cancelling??
