I'm convinced all the folks who passed out were just lightheaded from the smoke inhalation and probably some late night partying in Vegas the night before mixed in with all of that strong suggestion.

One weird thing in the middle section is where Rachel Weiss's character's husband who she is separated from dies (possibly by suicide) and everyone in town blames her for it even though he had pulled a gun on her in front of everyone just the night before. weirdly misogynistic

I went to Zac Bagan's haunted museum recently as someone who is a major skeptic and not into this stuff at all. It is bonkers. They had their "most" haunted doll "hooked up" to a spirit box so it could "talk" to us.

I've gleaned helpful stuff from everywhere, but more than any book, I think that just keeping a journal and being honest with myself about when I'm most productive and which things stand in my way was most helpful! I think Atomic Habits by James Clear has a few useful tips too!

"A.i." doesn't empower anyone. It strips them of belief in themselves and the power of their own minds and hands and abilities and stories.

EVERY KID CAN DRAW. EVERY KID CAN TELL STORIES AND MAKE COMICS.

Fuck "A.i." for telling kids lies and making them less-than.
