It's kinda crazy to remember that the mass protests today got their start (and name) from a tweet about congestion pricing

the Chinese practice their parades for months, sometimes years - this is not conducive to actual military readiness but it does look good! the sloppiness and half-assedness of this is indicative of both the general vibe of Hegseth's Pentagon and the lack of US tradition here.

Couple things I learned today:
- Seniors are extremely fired up about this
- "Fuck ICE" is a normie position now
- People are MASSIVELY pissed off about Sen. Padilla being wrestled to the ground in LA
- We all we got, we all we need

Any person in uniform wearing a mask and refusing to be properly and reliably identified should be assumed to be the same kind of murderer we’ve seen in Minnesota.
Shooters were dressed like law enforcement and this is exactly why I’m pissed about ice officers wearing masks, driving unmarked cars and not being identifiable when they terrorize communities

“…there is not a day that goes by when I am not, for at least a few minutes, stunned like a deer in headlights by the weight of the unnecessary pain that is being caused — when I am overwhelmed by the sheer breadth and depth of it all.” yeah.
Someone wrote to ask me, "is it okay to be overwhelmed?"

They go on to say that they worry they're "letting our side down" by being overwhelmed by the sheer breadth and depth of all of the attacks on basic human dignity being perpetuated by MAGA and MAHA, by the Trump Regime...

Worth repeating that this woman AGREED TO LEAVE THE UNITED STATES.

She said she would go back to Europe, where she held a valid visa that would allow her to temporarily stay.

She just didn't want to go back to Russia, where she feared returning bc of her past persecution for political activities.
The Justice Department has now filed criminal charges against Harvard scientist Kseniia Petrova for “allegedly attempting to smuggle clawed frog embryos and embryonic samples into the United States.”

Every extra hour that ICE spends facing off with activists is an hour they can't spend kidnapping other people.

Every extra minute ICE has to spend contingency planning around activists and neighbors, every extra officer ICE has to put on a kidnap squad, is a drain on their efficiency.

Keep in mind. Trump isn’t giving all these ICE Agents directions individually. They are choosing to do this. Stealing money. Making girls stand in the rain in their underwear. That’s their choice. Because people who chose to be ICE Agents chose it for pain it causes.
Please highlight this story.

ICE stormed into the wrong house, trashed the place, and made women/girls stand outside in the rain in their underwear. ICE also stole phones, laptops, and cash savings from the family, who moved to OKC two weeks ago.

The Justice Dept. has authorized law enforcement officers to GO INTO PEOPLE'S HOMES WITHOUT SEARCH WARRANTS if they suspect that someone is an "alien enemy"
